Coming to Malaysia in January 2026 are the Moto Morini XCape 700 and XCape 1200, priced at RM33,888 and RM49,888, respectively. With a price of RM49,888, the Moto Morini XCape 1200 is the cheapest above one-litre motorcycle in Malaysia, in any class.
For the XCape 700, power comes from a 693 cc parallel-twin, mated to a six-speed transmission. Power is rated at 75 hp at 8,500 rpm with 68Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Carrying 18-litres in the fuel tank, the XCape 700 rolls on a 19-inch wheel in front and a 17-inch hoop in the rear. Suspension is done with adjustable upside-down Marzocchi forks in front and preload-adjustable Kayaba monoshock at the back.
Braking duties are done with twin 298 mm diameter discs on the front wheel with four-piston Brembo callipers, with a 255 mm disc and two-piston calliper on the rear wheel. Two-channel ABS is standard equipment.
A 7-inch TFT-LCD screen displays all the necessary riding information, while other equipment includes a plastic engine skid plate and hand protectors, as well as a manually-adjustable windshield. The XCape 700 tips the scales at 213 kg, while ground clearance is set at 178 mm.
Moving on to the XCape 1200, this is the most technologically advanced motorcycle yet produced by Moto Morini, powered by a V-twin. Displacing 1,187 cc, and mated to a six-speed gearbox, the XCape produces 125 hp at 9,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 105 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
The electronics suite on the XCape 1200 is comprehensive, and includes five riding modes, cornering ABS, and three-level intelligent traction control with a six-axis inertial management unit (IMU). There is also cornering lights, cruise control, navigation display, blind spot radar, front digital camera, heated handlebar grips and seat, and a quickshifter.
Wheelmsizinng on the XCape 1200 is 19-inches in front and 17-inches in the rear, with Marzocchi upside-down forks and monoshock, both adjustable with 180 mm of suspension travel. Seat height is set at 860 mm with 23-litres of fuel carried in the tank, while overall weight is listed at 245 kg.
Twin 320 mm discs perform braking duties, stopped by four-piston Brembo callipers, while the rear gets a single 280 mm disc and single-piston brembo calliper. For the XCape 700 and XCape 1200, both Moto Morini models come with two side panniers and a top box included in the purchase price.
